What is RISKCURVES?

RISKCURVES from Gexcon is an advanced software tool to perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) to assess the total risk of storing, handling, and transporting dangerous substances in process industries. 

The software provides comprehensive result presentations in a wide range of ways, including location-specific individual risk contours (LSIR), individual risk per annum (IRPA), fN curves, Societal Risk Maps, and risk ranking reports. You can use analysis points to analyse the risk contribution of scenarios in specific locations.

RISKCURVES is built on the Coloured Books and is used and accepted worldwide for quantitative risk modelling and in a wide variety of safety studies.

A complete and open QRA suite

RISKCURVES integrates consequence modelling with EFFECTS while also allowing the use of results from other software, providing an open and flexible QRA environment with a database of 2200+ chemicals and the option for custom mixtures.

Societal risk maps

One of RISKCURVES’ unique features is the “Societal Risk Map”, a geographical representation of societal risk that provides clear insights even for non-specialists, complementing fN curves by identifying areas that exceed risk parameters and those that contribute most to the risk.
