Presenting multiscenario project results in Flowvis

Article summary

There are existing features in Flowvis that are particularly useful for presenting results of projects consisting of many scenarios.

Aggregation

Aggregation can be used to create an aggregated result based on the maximum, minimum or sum of several runs. This may be useful if the worst-case consequences are required from a set of scenarios for example for consequence-based facility siting.

Multiscenario table

A jump table allows the user to pull through scenarios from a project in the same format as the Table View in the Multiscenario window. This function enables quick (dependent on the size of results and geometry involved) and easy viewing of multiple results in succession.

  1. Create a Jump Table by selecting Jump Table on a blank Flowvis page or via Right-click -> Plot -> Jump Table.

  2. Navigate to the project folder and select the required thf project file.

  3. Create a subdivision on the presentation page and create a plot (e.g., a scalar time plot).

  4. Select the new plot and the jump table subdivisions and create a link in Link Properties and check Data files.

  5. Select jobs in the jump table to change the data file on display in the plot.
