How to update my FLACS license

When a license update or renewal is requested, you will receive it in the form of a V2C file from Gexcon. You can apply the update in one of three ways:

• Using the Admin Control Center web interface

• Using the FLACS Configuration Wizard

• Using the FLACS command line license configuration tool

Using the Admin Control Center web interface

1. Open http://localhost:1947 (or http://<IP-address>:1947 if the license key is on a different computer).

2. Go to the Update/Attach page. 

3. Select the V2C file received from Gexcon, and apply it

Using the FLACS Configuration Wizard 

1. Start the Configuration Wizard (change paths if FLACS is installed in a different location).

   1. For Linux:

      > /usr/local/Gexcon/FLACS-CFD_24.1/bin/run configureWizard 

   2. For Windows:

   3. C:\Program Files\Gexcon\FLACS-CFD_24.1\bin\configureWizard.exe

2. Click Apply license update.

3. Load the update file.

Run the command line tool with the update option (change paths if FLACS is installed in a different location):

For Linux:

> /usr/local/Gexcon/FLACS-CFD_24.1/bin/licenseconfig -u

For Windows:

> C:\Program Files\Gexcon\FLACS-CFD_24.1\bin\licenseconfig.exe -u
