Does FLACS support standalone and network licenses?

  • FLACS supports both single user licenses through the use of a hardware key and network licenses.


What are the minimum system requirements needed for installing FLACS?

  • Operating systems: FLACS is available on Linux and Microsoft Windows

  • Processor architecture: AMD64/Intel 64/x64 (64 bit) are supported. Intel IA64 (Itanium) is not supported.

  • Internal memory: 2GB or more recommended

  • Required hard drive capacity: 1.5 GB for the software installation and typically 100 GB for simulation data

  • Graphics card: a dedicated graphics card with NVIDIA chip set with at least 2GB of memory supporting OpenGL 3.3 or higher is recommended (newer integrated GPUs will also work in many cases but may be limited in their performance and are not officially supported)

Yes, there are a number of self-learning materials for FLACS software available including:

How can I book a training course?

To book an FLACS training session, visit the Gexcon website and select 'Events' under 'News & Insights'. Here you can view the training calendar, choose your preferred session, and complete the registration form.

What languages does FLACS support?

FLACS users can switch between English and Chinese languages.

In RunManager the language can be set via the Language tab.

In CASD and FlowVis the language can be set via Options → Language.
